Charles Forrest Foster Memorial Scholarship
Dr. Mary Jo Foster established the scholarship fund in memory of her husband Charles Forrest Foster. Mr. Foster was a 1941 graduate of Shields High School in Seymour, Indiana. He was a 1948 graduate of Purdue University with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. In 1967, he received an M.S. in Aero-Space Engineering and in 1972 an M.S. degree in Oceanography from the Florida Institute of Technology.
The scholarship will be granted to a student who is pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering at Purdue University; pursuing a general Engineering degree; or attending Purdue University if no Engineering majors apply for the scholarship. The scholarship is to be based on financial need, involvement in school activities, church involvement and overall grade average.
