This fund was established by the family of Roger Nolan to provide scholarships to graduating seniors of Seymour High School seeking a four-year diploma from an accredited community college or major university in the field of Nursing.
The scholarship fund was established as a bequest under the Will of Lydia Mellencamp. The scholarship is for graduating seniors of Seymour High School who will be entering the field of Nursing. The scholarship will be based upon a combination of scholastic ability and aptitude, scholastic achievement, good citizenship, interest in the field of nursing, and a need for financial aid. The scholarship is renewable for four years.
A bequest by Maude S. Welch to award scholarships in the field of nursing to residents of Jackson County and fund educational programs for nurses through Schneck Medical Center in Seymour, Indiana. Graduating student of Jackson County. Recipient must major in Nursing. May be renewable for subsequent years.
The fund was established under the Will of Nellie Kloeker for scholarships in Seymour and grants for local charitable purposes. One-half of the annual distributions shall be awarded as scholarships to non-high school students in the area of ministry, teaching, nursing, physicians and to graduating seniors who are residents of Seymour.
